Lord Holy Spirit... come, blow the breathe of God into my life again. Refresh me with Your presence and power. Help me let go of my old life controlled by the flesh of mankind, and wake we up to a new life of the Kingdom of heaven. Lord, bring to me again and again the rebirth of the water and the spirit every time I see a Christian baptism, every time I remember my own baptism, every time You call me again to trust entirely in You and Your provision and not in my own understanding or abilities to provide. By Your power at work in me, give birth to the new person in Christ again that You want me to be. Help me to live out this new life, this eternal life, as day by day I trust in You.
All praise and honor be to You oh Lord, for You have longed to draw to Yourself and Your eternal kingdom all people whom You have made. Send Your Spirit out over this community, over this state, even the whole country and world, that in these trying times, You will stir up faith in the hearts of those who are suffering, and will place into their lives winsome witnesses who will share the Good News of Your love and Your Son. Bless the ministry of Good Shepherd, that lost people will be drawn to this place. Grant that they will hear and receive the message of Your grace, that they will experience the rebirth of water and the Spirit so that they too may see and enter the eternal kingdom of heaven. Use us Lord as Your witnesses in our neighborhoods, in our homes, at work, wherever we are, that many will be born again into your kingdom.
Please draw near with Your healing presence and power for all who are sick and suffering in every way. Especially help ___________. All this we pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
