Why join our church?

• Professes we are followers of Christ and members of His body of believers.
• Provides a spiritual family for support and encourage Christian living.
• Gives a place to discover and use spiritual gifts for service to God and others.
• Brings us spiritual leadership through the Pastors and Board of Lay Ministry God has called into His service at Good Shepherd.
• Those who wish to become members of the Good Shepherd family are invited to complete an introductory 5 part membership process we call Discovery.  In Discovery, those transferring from Lutheran churches will profess their Christian faith and have a clear introduction to Good Shepherd's unique mission.  Those coming from other Christian denominations will have an introduction to Good Shepherd's interpretations of God's Word.  Those who have not recently, or perhaps never been involved in a church, may reaffirm their faith or embrace the Christian faith more fully.  Contact Pastor Rick at 897-0262 with any questions about your participation in Discovery or sign up for the next 5 week Discovery process which will begin October 3rd.  To download the Discovery document, click here.  We hope to see you there!
