Title: Prayer Team Meeting
Description: Good Shepherd's Prayer Ministry Team is made up of Co-chairs: Linda Scott & Art Umbach and team members: Rick Carlton, Nancy Naber, Chris Nestor, Dan Scott, Jim Schroeder, and Joyce Young. It meets regularly on the 4th Monday of each month. The team's purpose is to strengthen our relationship with God through prayer, expand our understanding and commitment to prayer, and be a catalyst for spiritual formation within the congregation. Description: Men from the church, Dad's from the Child Development Center and guests from the community are invited to our men's group. This group will offer men a place to share life, encouragement and insights on several different interests. We will enjoy a continental breakfast for a small donation to cover the cost of food.

Description: Bring a bathing suit, towel and some comfy shoes. We have an outing planned that you won't want to miss. We'll send details out to you by email. We'll start with a picnic lunch - and go from there. Cost: $10

Title: Tending The Flame Conference
Description: Living Letters, this summer’s Tending the Flame Conference, is about being the letters of Christ in a world seeking hope and good news. Christ has written with the Spirit of the Living God on our hearts that we would be His letters of recommendation. As a living letter, what do people read when they see you? Do they see Christ in you? Are you in the midst of the mission field, meeting people where they are, and serving with compassion?
Reggie McNeal, our speaker this year, encourages us to roll up our sleeves and get dirty in the missional task, to be the people of God serving in the midst of the world that God so loves that he sent His Son. It promises to be an exciting Conference.
Put the date (July 30 – August 1, 2010) on your calendar and encourage others to plan on attending.
Registration fee is $60 by June 30; $90 Late registration fee July 1 and after.
